Drop a LAS cloud, an XYZ file, or a GeoTIFF DEM. RICE reads the points, grids them if you ask, and writes any of the outputs below — in both directions. An agent checks the points survived the trip before you download.

Nothing read yet. The agent reports the point count against the file header, flags non-numeric rows, and refuses to call a coordinate system known when it is not — so the output can actually be used downstream.

The file you downloaded was read back with an independent GeoTIFF reader and compared with the grid above. These are the results of that comparison, not a claim.
Cloud to grid to raster, and DEM back to XYZ or CSV. A GeoTIFF you upload becomes points at cell centres, nodata cells skipped.
Uncompressed LAS is read directly. No LAZ decompressor can currently be loaded in the browser, so RICE tells you to export the cloud as .las rather than failing quietly.
Points are averaged, floored or ceilinged per cell — not krigged or spline-fitted. Gap fill is inverse-distance over neighbouring cells and is reported separately.
Reading, gridding, compression and rendering are all local. Nothing about your survey is transmitted. Very large clouds are capped by available memory, and the cap is reported.
